The cutting area is designed to clamp one or more aluminium bars of small section. The clamping/cutting area is fully protected by a guard that covers the blade and acts as a chip conveyor towards the suction nozzle; in addition, an overall plexiglass cover prevents the projection of chips.
The DigiSC4.0 IG OT is also equipped with an efficient evacuation system for swarf and swarf, and is prepared for connection to an extraction system; a special box is integrated in the base for quick cleaning.
The roller conveyor is constructed from robust aluminium extrusions. A height- and width-adjustable loading gripper runs on it (also by means of electric axes as an option). The gripper grabs the bars at a parameterised distance and pushes them to the desired height. The workpiece is then automatically cut and unloaded onto the table. The fully automatic cycle leaves the operator free to perform other operations while the machine cuts.
Operation
• Manual input of measurements directly from interface
• Upload of cutting list from USB memory or Ethernet/Wi-Fi
•Radio reception of measurements from DigiBAR electronic gauge and creation of cutting list
You can add, delete and edit any line at any time, jump from one line to another, manage the cut list.
Integration with the DigiBAR 4.0 electronic gauge is the most common way to work with the DigiSC 4.0 IG OT cut-off machine, The DigiSC 4.0 control unit integrates an advanced radio interface that is able to create and manage a robust radio network in the workshop. All products of the DigiFAMILY family are able to use this network to exchange information. The high level of integration makes working with DigiSC 4.0 and DigiBAR4.0 very easy; a cutting list is generated in real time on the screen during the measurement cycle. The colour touch screen contains all the information the operator needs during the work cycle, the coloured areas indicate the machine status clearly and immediately.
