The machine that guarantees maximum productivity for PVC glazing beads cut at 45° is the DigiX 4.0 IG OT
This glazing bead cutting machine is an automatic cutting line.

The operator only has to load the two bars and remove the cut pieces on the unloading table as all handling operations are automatic.
The cutting unit is specially designed for this automatic machine. There are three different workpiece clamping devices that guarantee stability during cutting. Both the loading clamp and the cutting unit are equipped with EGS (Electronic Glass Simulator), which, by means of two electric axes, adjusts the setup for each different type of profile in a fully automatic manner, NO COUNTERBLOCK  OR TOOLS ARE REQUIRED to change the type of profile to be cut.

The loading clamp is equipped with a photoelectric sensor that measures the length of the remaining bar, thus making it possible to perform non-optimised cutting lists.
The unloading table can accommodate numerous pieces already cut, giving the operator time to perform further production operations.
The gripper grabs the bars at a parameterised distance and pushes them to the desired height. The part is then automatically cut and unloaded onto the table. The fully automatic cycle leaves the operator free to perform other operations while the machine cuts.

It is possible to add, delete and edit any line at any time, jump from one line to another, and manage the trim cut.

Integration with the DigiBAR 4.0 electronic gauge is the most common way to work with the DigiX 4.0 IG OT cut-off machine, The DigiX 4.0 control unit integrates an advanced radio interface that is able to create and manage a robust radio network in the workshop. All products of the DigiFAMILY family are able to use this network to exchange information. The high level of integration makes working with DigiX 4.0 and DigiBAR4.0 very easy; a cutting list is generated in real time on the screen during the measurement cycle. The colour touch screen contains all the information the operator needs during the work cycle, coloured areas indicate the machine status clearly and immediately.

DigiX 4.0 IG OT is controlled by a 15″ Touch Screen Industrial PC connected to PLC boards.
The Industrial Windows 10 IoT operating system combines the simplicity of the Windows environment with the stability of systems designed for production environments.

DigiX 4.0 IG OT is a CONNECTED MACHINE.
Configurations, workshop data, parameters and production data are constantly saved on the new DigiCLOUD platform. This service makes it possible to minimise re-start times in the event of software hardware problems.

The machine program is equipped with an on-line contextual help that informs the operator about the machine controls and, in case of faults, offers a troubleshooting service guiding the operator to the solution of the problem with photos and electrical/pneumatic diagrams directly on the screen.

The DigiINDUSTRY 4.0 service (optional) allows consultation, export of production data and machine status (in accordance with Industry 4.0 protocols).
